The clients brief to Tony Hayes was to produce a single dwelling from 2 cottages and a barn, all of which were in very poor structural condition.
Before and after photographs show the outcome!
The house was sand-blasted to remove the white paint, then the front and one gable wall was demolished and re-built.
The scheme included ground-source heating and the re-use of stone slabs to main floors, oak structural beams etc., using local craftsmen throughout.
Tony designed and monitored construction throughout.
