Meryton Place Care Home

Completed in Winter 2022 Meryton Place is a 78-bed care home near Bristol offering; residential, nursing and dementia care as well as short breaks for respite.

The home offers a number of private suites which include a living area and kitchenette offering a homely atmosphere and independence for the residents.

The main ethos was for the care home to sit comfortably within the street scene and surrounding area. The design was broken down into smaller scale houses and a mix of materials and fenestration detailing were used to provide subtle variation along the elevations.

Bedrooms to the ground floor have access to an external space. All day spaces are positioned to open on to either landscaped gardens or terraced areas. Careful consideration was also given to the landscaping which include a play are for small children along with a garden club.
